The new Guide Shell System 2.0 is the result of extensive technical development and real-world testing by mountain guides and professionals all over the world. Stripped down to the bare necessities, this 3-layer shell is designed for those who spend days on end in an alpine environment, for those who ski often and hard, and for those who earn their living in the mountains.

New 100% recycled 3-layer shell fabric

Made from a new Japanese 100% post-consumer recycled Dermizax™NX 3-layer nylon fabric, with tactical reinforcement panels in all high-wear areas, this shell is extremely durable while surprisingly pliable, relatively lightweight and very comfortable. It is completely waterproof, completely stormproof and highly breathable.

Cutting-edge protection for alpine specialists

This is an uncompromising and hard-wearing specialist concept, designed to be used with backpack, helmet and mountaineering equipment. Generous ventilation alternatives provide effective moisture transportation, and pockets are roomy enough to fit technical gear and even wider skins. An oversized adjustable hood will fit most ski and climbing helmets.

They will withstand any weather conditions that you might encounter in the mountains or at high altitudes and are built to take the extended abuse of demanding alpine activities.

1020 fill power and 100% recycled hyperlight fabric

The hoodie is filled with previously unattainable 1020 fill power 98/2-quality ethically sourced European goose down that is RDS-certified, Bluesign-certified and PFC-free. It is covered in a Japanese technology 100% post-consumer recycled 10-denier nylon ripstop, weighing a featherlight 28 g/m2 and so thin that you can see the actual down clusters through the fabric.

The Guide Hyperlight Down Hood is a minimalistic and uncompromising specialist garment designed for extreme conditions, incredibly lightweight, extremely packable with exceptional insulation capability. Designed to be worn as a light-and-fast insulation layer when temperatures drop or as a stand-alone hoodie for that coffee break en route to the summit.
